Raw Portraits is a series of post-mortem animal headshots’ images in which the death of the animal has been masked with luxury and sophistication, as if it would be a fashion reportage for a society magazine. This bestiary of characters founded at the counters of food markets becomes a bizarre collection of portraits that hold the appearance of life, with the same cynical, emotional and social connotations that the human condition arises.
Raw Portraits is a critical body of work to ornamentation and nobility with a baroque and crude dreamlike style.
